The Geosciences Institute (www.igeo.ucm-csic.es) is a joint research center belonging to the National Research Council - CSIC (www.csic.es) and the Complutense University of Madrid - UCM (www.ucm.es). Some members of the research group develop also its research activities in the Department of Petrology and Geochemistry of the Complutense University of Madrid - UCM (www.ucm.es/info/petrolog). All the members have belonged to the former Institute of Economic Geology (CSIC-UCM).
Members of Applied Petrology for Heritage Conservation Research Group belong as well to the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) Research Group "Decay and Conservation of Heritage Stone Materials" (ref. 921 349).
